Welcome to The Neighbourhood of Roybrook Farm.

Roybrook Farm has always been a great place for family. In earlier times, the farm was known for the prize-winning cattle herd of pioneering farmer Fred Ormiston. In 1951, the homestead passed from Fred to his son Roy and was given the name Roybrook. For two generations, the Ormiston family found success with their herd at county fairs throughout the Durham region. The times may have changed, but one thing remains the same – Roybrook Farm is a great place for a family to get things started.

Welcome to a place where the values of the past serve to nurture the generations of the future. The Neighborhood of Roybrook Farm is the kind of community you’ve always dreamt about. It’s a place where kids can be kids. Where neighbors greet each other in the street. Where the wonders of nature are outside the backdoor and the conveniences of the city are out the front.
Welcome to The Neighborhood of Roybrook Farm – a great place to put down roots.

When choosing a home for your family, it’s the simpler things that can make all the difference. Our vision for The Neighborhood of Roybrook Farm includes lush acres of parkland with soaring trees and wide-open spaces. The countryside is literally just out the back door, meaning you can walk home under starry skies and fall asleep to the sound of crickets.
